The story takes place in 1997, when the destroyed Kowloon Walled City suddenly reappears and threatens to bring about catastrophe by throwing yin and yang out of balance. The player character is a feng shui practitioner who has been tasked with identifying and correcting the spiritual disturbances that caused Kowloon to reemerge.
