Radar Scope
Radar Scope did well in its native Japan, but was a commercial failure in the United States, placing Nintendo's newly minted American branch in dire straits. However, the game's failure led to the development and international success of Donkey Kong (1981), and Nintendo of America eventually converted the 2000 (out of 3000) unsold Radar Scope game cabinets into Donkey Kong cabinets.
