In search of a subject for their film, a group of directors ask passers-by about their expectations of Moroccan cinema in the streets and bars of Casablanca.
Storyline
For many years, the negatives of this film were lost, but in 2016, Léa Morin, French historian and researcher expert in Moroccan cinema and founder of the Atelier de l'Observatoire (Art et Recherche) of Casablanca (Morocco), followed the trail of materials until find them in the archive of Filmoteca de Catalunya. In the summer of 2017, a collaboration agreement was signed between Mostafa Derkaoui and Filmoteca de Catalunya for the 4K digital restoration of the film. Scanning, injury restoration and sound and color correction was carried out in 2018 by the 2CR team and external collaborators Ferran Alberich and Manel Almiñana. A restoration carried out jointly with the Atelier de l'Observatoire (Art et Recherche) of Casablanca and the complicity and supervision of Mostafa and Abdelkrim Derkaoui, director and director of photography of the film, respectively.
