For a year, mexican folk band "Ocean's Acoustic" worked on telling a story through music and animation. The result is the 2D-animated short-film/music video "La Casa del Árbol" (The Treehouse), a story and music written by themselves. The project tells the story of young Molière discovering his real passion and how his father opposes his likes, leaving him with no other choice than running away, a decision that will force him to grow and learn by his own means. This film is the complementary part of the whole project, where the newest album is the other part. In this album, each song tells a chapter of the same story, where the lyrics are written as if they were the letters sent from Molière to his father. A ten-chapter story of holding on to our dreams, narrated in one single short film that blends two of the greatest art-forms: music and animation. Díaz de León R.
