This was such an inspirational documentary about the women in West Africa overcoming gender inequality barriers. They create a team, then an annual competition bringing women from all over West Africa to compete. To me, the most important and inspirational message of the film is that thru soccer, these women are demanding equality. A right to play. A right to speak. A right to choose. A right to follow their hearts and dreams. This movie is not just a movie about soccer. This documentary shows the extraordinary strength that women have to overcome adversity.
