Storyline
"New Year's Kiss" was originally filmed for the Grand Rapids Film Festival's 36 Hour Film Challenge. The competition's required elements were the character or Emma/Ethan Didier, a Matchbook, and the line of dialog "Where will you go now?" The competition began at 8 pm on Friday, the production started filming at 10, wrapped filming at 5 am, and turned in the completed film by 6:30 am Sunday morning, ahead of the 8 am deadline.
