Storyline
"Rose Circles"... circles of love in action. That's what this film is about. Anne Godfrey, from Australia, who has lived in India for a very long time, is a creative artist extraordinaire. Her clothes and ornaments are exquisite, not to mention her landscape works. In India, she works with huge circles of women from rural villages as they participate in creating lovely garments and quilts that are sold around the world. The circles of women are actually communities held together not only by geography, but by common needs and interdependence and the practice of Homa (an ancient Vedic method of purifying and healing the atmosphere with a small fire). The woman who created this film, Mary Lee Weir, is from Belize and devotes her life to filming and promoting various projects from the worldwide Homa community. Her film works are not only very worthwhile, they are always so beautifully done and such a pleasure to watch.
