Joel Hans Embiid is a highly accomplished professional basketball player, who was born on March 16th, 1994 in Cameroon. In addition to his Cameroonian nationality, he also holds French and American citizenship. Embiid first made his mark as a college basketball player with the Kansas Jayhawks, before being drafted as the third overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2014 NBA draft.
