John has worked extensively as a comedy writer and director for over a decade, working on numerous TV shows, web series and branded content. John wrote and directed the winning ABC Freshblood application for Fancy boy, going on to write and act in the TV series. He was a writer and co-director of the Screen Australia funded feature film The Emu War which is due for Australian release in 2024
