Lisa wears a number of hats and has over two decades of experience in various roles in the film industry. She started her career as an actor before finding a passion for stand-up comedy and comedic writing. For 10 years she also worked as a casting director at Chameleon Casting. In 2017 she, John & Jay established Hot Dad Productions, which has produced projects such as Gocsy’s Classics (Comedy Central) and Gocsy’s Australia (VICE), as well as numerous short films, sketches and branded content. Lisa has also produced and co-directed the Screen Australia funded feature film The Emu War
