She began dancing at the age of three and trained in classical ballet, contemporary dance and jazz throughout her childhood, performing and competing both nationally and internationally. In 2013, Sophie received a full scholarship to spend the summer at the Joffrey Ballet School in Manhattan, New York where she was later offered a place as a full-time classical student.
