Allison Behringer has absolutely outdone herself in this second season of her series. This year (one we’ve all spent mystified and horrified by disease and its unexpected symptoms), Behringer goes into deeper, darker, more complex places than she ever has before. The conundrums these characters face are poignant and difficult and each episode, the format of the story shifts and adapts to fit the narration. Episode 6 of this season, “Not This Again,” took home the Bronze Third Coast Award. Listen and you will absolutely know why.
