Soweto Gospel Choir Live at the Nelson Mandela Theatre African Spirit

I can't remember what I was watching prior. This was a time back in 2007 when I actually watched TV and had a TV in my room. During this era, I had denounced my Christianity for the first time from my worthy life journey. I fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night, to pleasant voices ringing about. I was like what the heck is this? I'm not sure if I was about to change the channel, but instead I took a second to grasp what was going on. The songs, voices, harmony, melody was as sweet as something that I've never heard of. I immediately fell in love with this choir, despite being an atheist at the time. Since then still a non-christian I bump to their sweet precious songs. This group has such a dynamic presence when they sing. Soweto Gospel Choir originates from South Africa and hold choir events around the world. This one segment was top-notch. Again, still to this day I play their songs and are the only "gospel" music I will listen to with high gratitude. The assembly and presentation is worth an eye and an ear to watch and listen to. Though I don't accept the Jesus guy as fact, at least 1 great thing has come out of Christianity, and that is the Soweto Gospel Choir. Such a blessing.
