Oversand is one of the first films on free climbing, the third film in a series of three with "Overdon" in the Verdon, and "Over-Ice" in the icefalls of Oisans. Directed by Jean-Paul Janssen with French-speaking "climbing aces" of the time: Patrick Edlinger, Patrick Bérhault, Bernard Gorgeon, Hugues Jaillet, Jacques Perrier, Stéphane Troussier and Odette Schoënleb.
