There is a fan theory that Black Lotus is the Daughter of Kirito & Asuna from Sword Art Online, another series by Reki Kawahara that takes place in the same world as Accel World. This theory is built mostly on the fact that Black Lotus' design looks like a combination between the 2 characters.
