The best known theme tune used on the show (there were three during its run) was the uncredited 'Sun Ride' by John Leach (also uncredited), whose real name was Janos Lehar, A Hungarian composer, who also played the lead instrument on the recording, the Cymbalom, which had come to the attention of the British by it's heavy use in John Barry's score for the 1965 production 'The Ipcress File'. The 'Sun Ride' recording is only 59 seconds long and was recorded as a piece for the Chappell Recorded Production Music Library, now owned by Zomba Music.
