This anime is an incredibly helpful tool if you are trying to get a good feel for what China was like after the fall of the Han empire. The characters, events, and general time line are well captured by this show. If you already contain interest on the period in question and you are in to anime, you can't go wrong with this show. However, this does not have the power to turn those who are not interested in either the history itself nor anime into fans of either. Also, if you are watching this for the sake of viewing your favorite video game or book in a new light, it ends a little earlier than I would have liked, but if you are unfamiliar with the story then you won't have a problem. Overall this is a great piece and should be taken in to consideration...especially if you are loving the games. Hope this has been helpful.
