very briefly: 1- historical hysterics that fail even to make you laugh 2- typical melodrama (as in typical of Indian shows - if you've watched one, you watched em all) 3- clichés galore 4- anachronisms 5- more like above in all rainbow shades. i never had my hopes up because i am aware of the horrible soap operas in India but when this one got selected for Netflix I was rather optimistic. saddened to say, it was a disappointing experience for me. PS: I'm generally considered to be a huge fan of historical fiction. Final verdict: best avoided.
