This is the first Tom and Jerry cartoon short to be produced by Warner Bros. Animation, whom would take over the rights for its franchise from this point on. As William Hanna was still alive at the time this short was made, it was credited under the Hanna-Barbera brand name (as H-B was being folded into Warner Bros. Animation during this time), before Time Warner retired it out of respect for William Hanna (and the Cartoon Network Studios division would revive their own name for their own productions).
